Spiral Gears for Right-Angle Right-Hand Drives
Spiral gears are used in mechanical systems to transmit torque. The bevel gear is a particular type of spiral gear. It is made up of 2 gears that mesh with 1 another. Both gears are connected by a bearing. The 2 gears must be in mesh alignment so that the negative thrust will push them together. If axial play occurs in the bearing, the mesh will have no backlash.
